Shirley Jackson's 1959 gothic horror novel
The Haunting of Hill House is considered one of the best literary ghost stories published during the 20th century. In addition to this play, it has been made into two feature films and is the basis of a Netflix series.
Hilliard Bradley High School opened in the autumn of 2009. On November 20 of that year, Hilliard Bradley Theater mounted its first production, Sylvia, a play about a dog named Sylvia and the couple that adopts her. February 2010 brought the school's first musical Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
For the last decade, Bradley Theater has performed multiple productions each year, in both the 1000 seat Performing Arts Center and the more intimate Black Box Theater. In 2019 Carl Burgason, Assistant Director for the 2017-2018 season, returned to Bradley as Director and welcomed our new assistant director, Rachel Moore.
The biggest production of the year is the annual spring musical!
