This comedy follows the conflict between two roommates - one neurotic and fastidious, the other slovenly and carefree. Following the play's premiere on Broadway in 1965, the characters were revived in a successful 1968 film and 1970s television series, as well as several other derivative works and spin-offs. The author, American playwright and screenwriter Neil Simon (1927-218,) is widely regarded as one of the most successful, prolific and performed playwrights in theatre history.
Hilliard Bradley High School opened in the autumn of 2009. On November 20 of that year, Hilliard Bradley Theater mounted its first production, Sylvia, a play about a dog named Sylvia and the couple that adopts her. February 2010 brought the school's first musical Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
For more than a decade, Bradley Theater has performed multiple productions each year, in both the 1000 seat Performing Arts Center and the more intimate Black Box Theater. Director Rachel Moore and Assistant Director Emily Kacsandi are ready to lead us into another year of stellar performances.
The biggest production of the year is the annual spring musical!
